Mr Rafael KOTCHETKOFF CARNEIRO

Renewable Energy Engineer, University of Campinas

Rafael Kotchetkoff Carneiro holds a technical degree in electronics from the Technical School of Campinas (2013) and a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Campinas (2017), where he had an international exchange in France, at CentraleSupélec (2014-2015). He is currently pursuing his Master’s (exp. 2022) and PhD (exp. 2026) degrees in Power Electronics at the University of Campinas. Until 2019 he was the Quality and Engineering Director of Solstício Energia, a well-known photovoltaic (PV) energy integrator company, having worked with over 250 projects with a total power of over 6 MWp, including most of the PV projects installed at the University of Campinas. Nowadays, he acts as the Director of RKC Engenharia, partnering with french-based company Solamaz to develop sustainable energy solutions to remote communities. He has over 12MWp in solar energy projects, including on-grid, off-grid and hybrid solutions.
