GYBN: Youth voices stopping the same.

Why attend
We will take you from North to South to showcase how youth under the umbrella of GYBN are taking action and calling upon their policymakers to stop the same! You will experience first-hand the unity in conservation and the challenges faced by youth across the globe, while appreciating the diverse ways through which they are tackling them.
HideDescription
The event is anchored on the frustrating fact that young people are aware of the same mistakes that have led us all into the current climate crisis. However, young people under GYBN are refusing to sit back and watch as things move to irredeemable levels. GYBN Chapters from both the Global North and South are mobilizing their members in numbers, through diverse ways, to raise their voices and champion youth-led action at grassroots levels to reverse the trends and challenge the status quo. From online and in-person campaigns, ecosystem restoration, intergenerational dialogues, consultation meetings, to Friday strikes, youth are proving that time is of essence. This event seeks to showcase best youth-led practices that can be emulated by young people from different regions, contexts, and realities.
