The session seeks to bring together IUCN members and Commissions interested in strengthening the role of IUCN in promoting enabling civic spaces for more effective and equitable conservation.

The session will start with a presentation of highlights from recent global survey followed by a panel discussion with IUCN NGO members from different regions.
