Dr Thomas GALEWSKI

Researcher / Coordinator of the Mediterranean Wetlands Observatory, Tour du Valat

Thomas Galewski is a biologist with a PhD in evolutionary biology and ecology. He joined the Tour du Valat research institute in 2008 to lead international conservation projects assessing the status of biodiversity in the Mediterranean basin.

His current activities include linking scientific research and societal needs in a still insufficiently recognised ecosystem : Wetlands. A passionate field naturalist, he has acquired a good knowledge of global conservation issues.
