Dr Rajeev RAGHAVAN

Assistant Professor, Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies

Rajeev Raghavan is an Assistant Professor at the Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies, Kochi, India where his team studies tropical freshwater biodiversity, answering both fundamental and applied questions. Rajeev is actively involved with the work of the IUCN SSC and is currently the South Asia Co-Chair of the Freshwater Fish Specialist Group, and the Freshwater Fish Red List Authority Coordinator for the continents of Asia and Oceania. Rajeev has to his credit more than 170 papers (with >2000 citations) in leading journals in fisheries science and biodiversity conservation.
