Ms Natia TSKHOVREBADZE

Head of Strategic Planning and Development Department, National Forestry Agency of the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture of Georgia

Natia Tskhovrebadze has over 6 years of professional experience working on forest policy, conservation and sustainable forest management in Georgia. Since 2020, she is the head of the Strategic Planning and Development Department of the National Forestry Agency of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia (MEPA). The department aims to enhance the capacity of the Agency to introduce Sustainable Forest Management. Thus, she supports the forestry sector reform process in Georgia and her work focus on developing forest policy instruments, strategies, and related action plans. In addition, she supports donor coordination in the forestry sector to enhance the effectiveness of implemented activities of the projects; 

Since 2017, she has been participating in regional negotiations related to the Bonn challenge addressing Forest Landscape Restoration opportunities in the country.
