Scientific Project Officer, European Commission - Joint Research Centre

Scientific Project Officer at the Joint Research Centre (JRC) of the European Commission. Biologist with a PhD in marine ecology and natural resources management and conservation. My research activities and interests are both the human and ecological dimensions of the Marine Protected Areas, in particular using tracking tool for the management effectiveness and stakeholder participation. My work aim is to translate recent scientific findings to decision-making audience. I am the Marine protected areas specialist and the focal contact point for the Caribbean region at the Joint Research Centre within the Biodiversity and Protected Areas Management Programme (BIOPAMA) since 2013.
