Senior Fishery Resources Officer, Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN

Dr Kim Friedman (Kim.Friedman@fao.org) is a Senior Fishery Resources Officer within the Marine and Inland Fisheries Division of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). Within the Fisheries Division, Kim leads the Resilience Team, is responsible for the FishFinder program and has leadership and coordination responsibilities for biodiversity issues generally. Kim is also the Divisional focal point for the FAO engagement with the Convention on Biological Diversity, CITES (the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora) and liaison across Small Island Developing States (SIDS).
