Mrs Judith BEYELER

Medium and Small Grants Coordinator, IUCN

Born in Geneva and holder of two Master’s degrees in Translation and Development Studies, Judith Beyeler is a true project management “generalist” with a robust field experience and a knack for getting things done. Her versatile career started in the Brussels area, acting as National Contact Point for EU-funded research & innovation programmes for environment, energy and space. She moved to Central America in 2015, first working at HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation, then IUCN. She has recently focused on watershed management, from coastal biodiversity conservation to Ecosystem-based Adaptation in upper basins, in Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras. She has a strong expertise in granting mechanisms and supporting local organizations through all aspects of project execution, including crosscutting issues such as gender and environmental and social safeguards. She is proficient in French, English and Spanish.
