Conservation policy leader with a range of skills related to biodiversity planning, management, finance, policy and assessment, with a focus on promoting nature-based solutions for sustainable development. I specialize in the development of criteria and indicators for monitoring and evaluation; the development of practical management tools, methodologies and learning curricula for practitioners and policymakers; the design and execution of capacity development strategies at multiple levels; and the design of strategies to bring local nature-based solutions to scale.

Specialties: Protected area management effectiveness, capacity needs assessment and development, policy assessment, forest certification, strategic analysis and planning, landscape linkages and connectivity, private protected areas, community-based conservation, watershed planning, national biodiversity planning and reporting, nature-based solutions for sustainable development.
