Dr Ian HUDSON

Head of Environment, AngloAmerican

Ian is Head of Environment at AngloAmerican where he leads a multi-disciplinary team covering a range of areas under the Environmental Sustainability Umbrella. One of those discipline areas is Nature and Biodiversity which covers both internal standards and external standards and partnerships. Ian has been at AngloAmerican for just over 1 year and prior to AngloAmerican spent 15 years in the Energy sector in a range of leadership roles from QHSE, HR, Marketing and Business Management. Prior to moving into industry Ian spent time in Academia leading a Deep Ocean science research programme. Ian has a PhD in Ocean Ecology and degree in Marine Biology.
