Prof. Guadalupe Yesenia HERNÁNDEZ MÁRQUEZ

Director, ADE S.C. de R.L.( Club UNESCO Preservamb A.C./Rueda de Medicina A.C.

She is an indigenous scientist, adviser, activist, and researcher on sustainable development,  working on the following areas: Co-producing knowledge processes between traditional knowledge and modern science for nature conservation; 
 Indigenous rights;
Political advocacy at the local, national, and international levels; 
Biocultural protocols or community protocols; Environmental and social performance standards and environmental and social impact assessment.
Currently, she is the  Focal point of the Earth Charter initiative in Oaxaca State, Mexico; and focal point of  Club UNESCO Preservamb in Oaxaca, State; She is part of the "Medicine wheel" NGO working in nature conservation based on traditional knowledge and believes, as chief of the program "Biodiversity: Opportunity/Responsibility" that creates awareness on the importance of biodiversity for human life.
