President, Planète Amazone

Gert-Peter BRUCH, French director, journalist, photographer and author, has been committed to the protection of the Amazon rainforest for more than 30 years, a cause he espoused during the first global awareness campaign of Raoni Metuktire, legendary chief of the Kayapo people. Founder of Planète Amazone, which supports indigenous peoples in their international fight against deforestation, he has organized numerous field and awareness campaigns, including three international tours with Chief Raoni. Planète Amazone is part of the Alliance of Mother Nature's Guardians, a movement aiming to preserve peace and protect future generations.
