Emily GOODWIN

Programme Officer – Ecosystem based Adaptation, IUCN

Emily supports the development and implementation of IUCN's global portfolio of projects on nature-based solutions for adaptation and resilience. This includes the coordination of the Friends of Ecosystem-based Adaptation (FEBA), a global collaborative network of 90+ agencies and organisations working to synthesize multi-stakeholder knowledge on EbA; disseminate knowledge by convening the global EbA community around high-level events, technical workshops, and expert working groups; and raise awareness and understanding of EbA in adaptation planning processes and multilateral policy frameworks. Emily also supports the steering and operations of the Global Fund for Ecosystem-based Adaptation, which provides targeted seed capital for innovative and catalytic approaches to ecosystem-based adaptation.
