Programme Officer, UN Environment Programme World Conservation Monitoring Centre

Claire manages the Global Database on Protected Area Management Effectiveness (GD-PAME) and works to update the database with global partners. She works on the Protected Planet Initiative, which is the global authority on protected areas and other effective area-based conservation measures data. Her focus is on Western and Central Africa, leading UNEP-WCMC’s work in this region through the BIOPAMA programme.

As part of her role, Claire is working with governments, non-governmental organisations, academia and industry to build technical capacity in spatial analysis and data management at a national and regional level.
