Dr Christopher LEMIEUX

Associate Professor and John McMurry Research Chair in Environmental Geography, Wilfrid Laurier University

Chris is a social scientist working at the science-policy interface on several issues related to parks and protected areas. Currently research focuses on conservation standards, evidence-based decision-making, climate change adaptation, and the human health and well-being benefits associated with nature contact. He is a Member of the IUCN World Commission on Protected Areas (including the Health and Well-being Specialist Group) and Secretary of the Canadian Council on Ecological Areas.
