Community Volunteer, Kua`aina Ulu `Auamo

Member of KUA Kua aina ulu auamo. A grass roots organization supporting community based resource management that incorporates traditional Native Hawaiian knowledge and practices.

Founding member of Kamaaina United to Protect the Aina and KUPA Friends of Hookena Beach Park. Community based non profits located in the region of Kapalilua, Hookena South Kona, Hawaii Island. 

These non profit organizations work closely with the community of Hookena and with other community organizations, government agencies and NGO's to better manage their natural resources incorporting customary and traditional Native Hawaiian practices.
