Auriane PETIT

Project Officer, BlueSeeds

Auriane holds a research master’s degree in History of International Relations and a second master’s degree in International Project Management MRIAE from the University Panthéon-Sorbonne Paris 1. Specialised in the historical and socio-economic issues in the creation of a marine protected area (MPA), she has worked for the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, the UNEP Regional Activity Centre (SPA/RAC) in Tunisia, and for the sustainable financing of MPAs The MedFund association. Auriane joined the BlueSeeds team to develop and test new approaches to conservation and impact measurement. She has the exciting task of leading and promoting the network Together for the Med in collaboration with the IUCN Med. This rich and diverse network gathers 50 partners funded by the MAVA Foundation around 15 projects to reduce fishing pressures on marine biodiversity in the Mediterranean Sea.
