Mr Aniol ESTEBAN

Director, Marilles Foundation

Marine biologist and environmental economist. Aniol has devoted his career to generate economic arguments in support of nature conservation.  Director of Marilles Foundation – a philanthropic initiative working to turn the Balearic Islands (Majorca, Menorca, Ibiza, Formentera) into a world reference for marine conservation. Marilles recently published a study revealing that the MPA of Llevant in Majorca generates 10 Euro of benefit for every Euro invested. The study was carried by Ecoacsa and CBBA within the EU MPA Networks project. More info here and at this article by The Guardian.
