Ms Angeline DJAMPOU

Librarian / Programme Manager, Online Access to Research in the Environment (OARE), United Nations Environment Programme

Angeline is Head of the Knowledge and Publications Management Unit at UNEP. She oversees library services and is responsible for the management of the UNEP publications repository. Angeline is also the Programme Manager of OARE, an initiative that provides developing countries access to peer-reviewed content online.

Angeline has over 26 years of experience in information management. Prior to joining UNEP, she served respectively as Chief Librarian and Legal Officer at the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda, Information Management Officer at the African Development Bank and Librarian at USAID.

Angeline's initiatives include the design of the ICTR information literacy outreach programme in Rwanda, the creation of the ICTR Basic Documents and Case Law platform and the implementation of the UNEP digital library.

Angeline holds a Master's in Management, a Master's in Library Science and a Master's in International Law.
