Alfredo A. Arquillano Jr., a mechanical engineer by profession and is currently serving as mayor of San Francisco, a coastal municipality in Camotes Group of Islands, Cebu Province Philippines and President of Non-Government Organization namely Alfredo S. Arquillano Sr. Centre for Resiliency Inc. (ASAS)

 He is a mountain biking enthusiast and vegetarian convert, the innovator of purok or sub-village system that provides local solution to local issues that includes solid waste management and climate smart disaster risk management on the island.

He is one of the eight delegates from the Philippines who attended the 4th Asian Ministerial Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction (AMCDRR) last October 25 – 28, 2010 at Incheon, Korea.
