Using STAR for business decision making (Hub)

Why attend
Interested in the newly released Species Threat Abatement and Restoration (STAR) metric? Curious to understand how it could be used by your organisation to reduce species extinction risk? Join experts from the Integrated Biodiversity Assessment Tool (IBAT), IUCN and The Biodiversity Consultancy for an informal working session on STAR.
HideDescription
This session provides an opportunity to get hands on with STAR in an informal working session. Participants will have the opportunity to generate bespoke STAR reports for a location of interest live onsite through IBAT. Have your questions answered by experts who were involved in the development of STAR and the initial piloting of the metric. Hear from businesses who are already using STAR to prioritise areas for intervention and understand the opportunities for reducing pressure on species. Learn how to interpret the results of STAR reports, and how you can gain access through STAR Beta, the free early access programme.
