Do you know that the Mediterranean region is getting warmer than other regions in the world? NbS offer an unprecedented opportunity to increase the resilience of Mediterranean society faced with climate change. The event will showcase successful examples and initiatives of NbS in place applied in different natural ecosystems.

Four different NbS examples will be presented: 1) Innovative nature-based forestry practices to adapt Mediterranean forests to Climate Change in the Konya Region. 2) Agroecology solutions from the south of France to enable the production of diversified and responsible food by protecting the soil and biodiversity; 3) Protection of Posidonia and integration of them into the overall coastal strategy to preserve Mediterranean beaches - POSBEMED 2 project; 4) Environmental corridors around Oued Tine valley area, (Tunisia) to increase connectivity between biotopes, allowing species to move and survive in a degraded and fragmented landscape, and ultimately contribute to the sustainability of the unique agro-systems, such as olive and carob orchards.
