Why attend
To Inspire the next generation of scientists and conservationists they need to interact with the current generation. Exploring by the Seat of Your Pants is an exciting platform that uses technology to connect hundreds of thousands of students to experts in over 70 countries, often live from the most remote and endangered regions on the planet.
HideDescription
To inspire the next generation of conservationists we need to connect students to the current generation of conservationists working around the world. Organizations and individuals need to be actively sharing their work with classrooms around the world, the successes and failures. Exploring by the Seat of Your Pants provides that platform. As an education non-profit, our goal is to bring science, conservation and exploration into classrooms through live virtual guest speakers and field trips. We've run well over 1,000 live events connecting hundreds of thousands of students to scientists and conservationists in over 70 countries. The technology now exists to bring the most remote conservation sites live into classrooms, whether it's ranger training in the rainforest of Borneo, meeting the last two northern white rhinos and their protectors in Kenya or green sea turtle works ups on a beach in Baja, Mexico, we've brought these conservation moments and many more live into classrooms.
