WILDLABS: Broadening participation in conservation technology innovation and application

Why attend
What do a primate biologist in Brazil, a GIS specialist in Nigeria, and an artificial intelligence developer in Silicon Valley have in common? You can find them all on WILDLABS.NET. Launched in 2015, WILDLABS is the first open, online community that connects conservationists and tech experts around the world. How can it help you?
HideDescription
Technology is helping conservationists to research, adapt and apply existing tools that transform our understanding of the natural world and enhance our ability to mitigate threats like the illegal trade in wildlife. However, integrating technology requires resources, training and testing on the ground in challenging conditions. Data and lessons learned from research and field trials often remain within conservation organizations, universities, and private/public institutions and are not shared widely enough. WILDLABS is working to break down these silos. WILDLABS is the first global, open online community dedicated to conservation technology. It connects field conservationists and tech experts around the world, to share problems and successes, give and receive guidance, and access the resources needed to discover or collaboratively create technology to solve big conservation challenges. Discover how WILDLABS could help you use technology better.
