Dr Doug RADER
Chief Ocean Scientist and Associate Vice President, Environmental Defense Fund
Rader has worked for Environmental Defense Fund for nearly 34 years, including as Chief Ocean Scientist for the last two decades. He advises senior leadership on integrated, science-based strategy building, and works in partnership with scientists, managers, government and industry leaders and local communities in solving the most pressing problems facing coastal and ocean ecosystems, including climate resilience. Rader is an avid scuba diver , swimmer and bicyclist, and has greatly enjoyed learning about diverse parts of the planet we share during his time with EDF.
