Mediterranean Donors Social Event: Catching up with peers

Why attend
You are a donor organisation with an interest in the Mediterranean, but are not sure how to start getting involved in the region? You are curious about the paradoxical combination of rich and unique biodiversity and huge socioeconomic challenges? Come meet the donor community of the Mediterranean for a sharing of experience that may inspire you!
HideDescription
This social event is the opportunity to meet the donor community of the Mediterranean in an informal and relaxed atmosphere and learn about the numerous individual and collective initiatives it has been supporting over the years. A representative mix of philanthropic and institutional funders, some active in the region for decades and some recent comers to the field, will be gathered to catch up with their peers and welcome fellow funders with an interest in the region. Boasting tremendous biodiversity despite levels of tourism, maritime traffic, and water stress amongst the highest in the world, the Mediterranean is a land of paradoxes. At the crossroads between Europe, Asia and Africa, its biological, and sociocultural identity is rich and multifaceted, and it faces huge geopolitical and economic challenges. This makes it a critical area to fund. This event provides an opportunity to understand the Mediterranean funding landscape and discover opportunities to get involved.
