Gamification, technology & storytelling: Engaging the next generation of conservation leaders

Why attend
Dynamic discussion on the ways in which gamification, technology and compelling content can engage large and untapped new and young audiences on conservation issue.
HideDescription
We are currently in a time when humans are ever more reliant on technology and increasingly disconnected with nature. This can be particularly true for the younger urban generations that grew up with smart phones in their hands. It is through this technology that innovative solutions will captivate and tangibly engage broad audiences with the protection of the natural world and indigenous cultures. This panel brings together a dynamic group of speakers that are using gamification, storytelling and crowdfunding to have a positive impact on biodiversity conservation efforts and education on local communities. A thoughtful holistic discussion on the ability of innovative new approaches to build a bridge to our next generation, and ultimately how this translates into measurable impact on the ground.
