Experience in fields of concern to IUCN:

As a first term Councillor, I have been actively involved in oversight and other related activities during the Council meetings and in-between meetings since 2016. Besides being the Deputy Chair of PPC, I am also a member of several task forces such as the Urban Task Force as well as leading working groups (Resolution 003) and Council Motions (Sustainable Agriculture). I have also been active at the regional level by representing the interest of IUCN at activities organised by the IUCN Asia Regional Office (ARO) and the IUCN Asia Members Committee. Examples of my strong support for ARO are my active participation in training workshops organised by ARO in the region and my active presence at the Asia Members Committee meetings and Regional Conservation Forum (RCF). Currently I am supporting ARO to planning the Second Asia Parks Congress, to be held in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah in 2021. I have also been active in the IUCN Commissions since 2011 and I am the Focal Point for the IUCN Natural Resource Governance Framework (NRGF).
