Ms Antonia MIHAYLOVA

Special Adviser to the Director General, IUCN

Environmental management professional with specialist expertise in the mining sector. Antonia has led policy and legislative reform programmes across Asia and Africa on behalf of the World Bank and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). Prior to becoming the Special Adviser of the Director General of IUCN, she was the manager and adviser to the Chair of the Global Tailings Review - co-convened by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the International Council on Mining and Metals (ICMM), and the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI). In the earlier stages of her professional development, Antonia worked for grassroots environment NGO, where she worked on a conservation project in southeast Madagascar.
