The SWM side event will mostly aim at illustrating the specificities of the SWM Programme as a unique large scale programme focusing on wildlife uses, as well as at presenting flagship achievements and innovations so far, including its contributions to building back forward in a post-COVID-19 world. The side event will involve speakers and representatives from the donor (Organisation of Africa, Caribbean and Pacific States, European Union) and technical partners (FAO, CIFOR, CIRAD and WCS).
