Capacity Building - Turning Data into Practice

Why attend
The session will highlight the importance of using the data for adaptive management to achieve conservation outcomes through appropriate capacity interventions.
HideDescription
There are several tools and technologies available for management of protected and conserved areas (PCAs). These tools and technologies are used for gathering data on various aspects of PCA protection and management. However, without adequate capacity and understanding on how to use the data for adaptive management it is hard to achieve the conservation goals. The session will bring together experts and users from the ground to share the challenges and best practices on adaptive management using the appropriate capacity building interventions.
