High Seas: From Science to Decision

Why attend
Learn how recent projects financed by FFEM are attempting to bridge the gap between science and decision making, for the protection of high seas biodiversity.
HideDescription
The high seas cover nearly half of the Earth’s surface. They hold great biodiversity which remains largely unprotected. Increasing scientific knowledge and understanding about key high seas ecosystems is essential but this should provide support for decision making. This session will showcase recent projects financed by FFEM on how to bridge the gap between science and decision making for the protection of high seas biodiversity.
