HideDescription
This press conference is dedicated to the controversial Resolution 075 up for vote at the IUCN Members Assembly. The speakers will present some fundamental questions and ethical principles that Resolution 075 should define, collect and consider in an inclusive and participatory way, in order to enable IUCN members to vote on a policy in 2024 that should answer the question if genetically engineering wild species should be a allowed for nature conservation purposes - or not.
