Building resilient and innovative conservation leaders for the future

Why attend
Aimed at people from any sector who want to bring out the best in themselves and others to address conservation challenges, this event led by a number of world renowned conservation leadership programmes promotes aspects of leadership that build resilience and innovation.
HideDescription
Effective leadership is essential for making the changes required to address the serious and complex threats to global biodiversity today. To succeed we need innovative, adaptive, resilient and collaborative conservation leaders, that come from a variety of sectors. This campus session aims to inspire future leaders and equip them to lead change in themselves, others, and wider systems. We will create an interactive marketplace filled with short activities aimed at building understanding of facets of leadership for conservation that are seen as increasingly important to success. Sessions will be led by a number of programmes from around the world that have a wealth of experience on building conservation leadership capacity and are now collaborating together to scale their impact. Participants will leave the session with a greater understanding of their strengths as emerging conservation leaders, and a host of pointers to further resources which can help guide their future development.
