This session will bring together various stakeholders involved in green finance (Governments, Private Sector, CSOs) and provide insights on how private sector financing can be increasing to maximise global environment benetifs.

A thematic plenary will provide an opportunity to provide keen insights from key organizations, leaders, and experts on what will it take to unlock and scale-up financing for nature, for the current momentum to reach a transformative change. The session will answer the following questions: • Is today’s climate and nature finance effective? • Under which conditions does it help transform the management of land and seascapes and food production, urban and energy systems so that we shift to low-carbon, sustainable pathways? • What are the promising strategies to shift the private sector’s interest at scale? The panelists will share insights into their key initiatives and partnerships to tackling major gaps for unlocking finance at scale.
