Malidadi Langa is a graduate Economist and retired public servant who has extensive experience in decentralization and rural development, NRM governance and public policy, and CBNRM. Malidadi is currently Chairman of the Board of Trustees for KAWICCODA, (a community association) and Chairman of the National CBNRM Forum. In this regard, he represents Malawi CBNRM associations in the Southern Africa Community Leaders Network (CLN) which advocates for community rights around sustainable use and benefit sharing on the basis of the Nagoya Protocol. In the Africa Nature-based Tourism Project, Malidadi is the National Focal Point for Malawi and also a member of the Project Steering Committee.
