Nature-based Solutions for Climate Change Adaptation in the Mediterranean Basin

Pourquoi assister à cette session?
The Mediterranean Basin is at the crossroads of the fight against biodiversity erosion, adaptation to climate change and development of societies. This workshop proposes to illustrate how Nature-based Solutions can provide concrete, sustainable and durable answers to these challenges.
HideDescription
This workshop will be composed of short interventions of recognized specialists and testimonies of field actors, followed by an exchange with the audience. It aims to illustrate the importance of Nature-based Solutions (NbS) to meet the societal challenges faced by the countries of the Mediterranean Basin while addressing the issues of conservation and restoration of a rich and threatened biodiversity. It will also identify the operational levers and obstacles to the deployment of NbS and the issues of the motion 36 voted electronically at the Congress.
