IUCN elections

The World Conservation Congress is the highest organ of IUCN and consists of duly accredited delegates of the Members of the IUCN meeting in session. One of the functions of Congress is to elect the President, Treasurer, Regional Councillors and Chairs of Commissions, who will make up the IUCN Council. This is the body responsible for the oversight and general control of all the affairs of IUCN.

IUCN Council elections were held from 4 to 7 September 2021 by an online vote open to all IUCN Members eligible to vote and the results can be viewed by clicking on the tab below.
