Assitant Secretary General - Environment and Climate Action, OACPS (Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States)

Cristelle Pratt joined the Executive Management Team of the Brussels-based OACPS in October 2020 after having completed a six-year term as Deputy Secretary-General of the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat (PIFS) based in Fiji. Both are inter-governmental organisations. Ms Pratt has also served as Director-General of the Pacific Islands Applied Geoscience Commission until 2010 and has worked for the Fiji Government. She has worked in both the public ad private sectors and has been a regional policymaker and practitioner over the past two decades and is a leading regional expert in the area of resilience and ocean governance. Ms Pratt holds degrees in marine law and policy from Dalhousie University in Canada and geoscience from the Australian National University.
