Strategic Communication for Behavior Change - Design of Behavior Change

¿Por qué asistir a esta sesión?
If we only could influence people who harm nature, the world would be much greener. The good news is that behavior change is unraveled by psychologists: in this session participants will get proven, winning recipes to influence their audiences and stakeholders so they will walk out the door with a hands-on behavior change strategy.
HideDescripción
Conservationists have to influence target audiences to reach their goals. They work hard on behavior change, but experience that it is very difficult. Why? Expertise from behavioral sciences is often not used. But it can greatly increase success. It is a strong and valuable force to add to projects and plans. As behavioral psychologist, the session manager Peter Paul van Kempen has access to state of the art methods and models to change behavior effectively. The field is rapidly evolving and new actionable tools are now available for the conservation sector. With also a background in environmental management and policy, plus being involved in IUCN for two decades, Peter Paul knows how to connect behavioral psychology with conservation.
