Prof. Zuhair AMR

University Professor, Jordan University of Science and Technology

Zuhair Amr is a Professor of Zoology and animal ecology at the Department of Biology, Jordan University of Science and Technology, Jordan. He received his Ph.D. in Zoology from the University of Rhode Island, USA.  He published over 230 papers and 10 books on various aspects of ecology and systematics of mammals and reptiles in Jordan, Lebanon, Kuwait, Syria, Palestinian Territories, and Saudi Arabia. He serves as the scientific authority for CITES in Jordan, a member of the IUCN bat and otter specialist group.
