Dr Nelly KADAGI
Director, Education for Nature and Conservation Leadership, World Wildlife Fund
Nelly I. Kadagi, Ph.D is a fisheries scientist, educator, and conservation leader who works at the intersection of policy, science and capacity development. She is currently the Director, WWF’s Education for Nature Program and Conservation Leadership. In this role, Nelly oversees WWF’s strategy for conservation capacity development and leads the operation of the Russell E. Train Education for Nature Program (EFN).
As a scientist, her work has primarily focused on understanding sources of fisheries conflicts and improving the quality of fisheries data on large pelagic fish species such as billfish, fisheries conflicts and transnational governance of fisheries resources.
