Born and raised in Marseille, South of France, I am an ecologist participating in research in the field of ecological restoration and nature based solutions. I have been a PhD student in the Mediterranean Institute of Biodiversity and Ecology, and I am currently a research fellow at LPED and the chair of the board of French restoration network, affiliated to SER Europe.
Research interests : Integrated management and ecological restoration of coastal terrestrial areas, in Atlantic and Mediterranean contexts (south of Europe) for biodiversity conservation + adaptations to global change. Tolerance and resilience mechanisms of disturbed ecosystems especially those of plant communities and their associated microorganisms. Development of ecological engineering tools and interdisciplinary approaches to restore the functionality of natural and (peri-)urban habitats. Example: phytostabilization using native native plants.
